A Word on These Times

According to the complex astrological calculations of the mysterious Mayan people of Central America, the present age of modern man began on 12th August 3114 BC and was due to end AD 22nd December 2012. This is supposed to be the fifth age, for they believed that there had been four former ages and four former races of man. We, the people present on the earth at this time, were to be destroyed by great cataclysmic occurrences, chief of which would be earthquakes. No such thing happened in 2012, but any astute esoteric student will attest to the fact that in the last few years all life on earth has been going through phenomenal change at an energetic and material level.

Like the Mayans before, many attribute these transformations to the unprecedented solar and planetary activities in our universe.  As both a sensitive and reiki healer I could not help but notice the increased erratic behaviour and paranoia displayed by world citizens both here and abroad. My Higher Self did not seem unduly  bothered but referred to the changes that I was seeing around me as a Shift in Consciousness. New Energy was making its way to us in this new age so that we human beings, the Earth herself, all living things, could further evolve into better versions of ourselves. Old ways of thinking and being had to be released and cleared hence the chaos. In 2011 as I continued to feel overloaded with the emotional turmoil around me, my Higher Self said to me,

“Well we are in the grind of things. You have prepared but there are still areas of stasis that need prodding, need movement out. But we are on time for the energy influx. Much is happening that you cannot see. Everything and everyone is moving in an energetic dance that is quite phenomenal. Let those who have eyes see! We are watching as others fall into this giant soup of new consciousness and watch how their ingredients take to the main body.

Some are faring well. Their old ways of being which had become very comfortable for them are now leaving. They are not liking it that much! Then there are those like you who know but are still broadsided by the energy. None shall escape this great shifting and shifting. Think of this energy as a giant strainer and the world you have created is being moved around inside it to allow the dross to leave. Some of you might not want it to go because you have made yourself comfortable with it, for it has made you who you are in the world. And what of the other parts? You might want it to leave but you do not know what would replace it so you hold on to it, wanting reassurance. But assurance is the FAITH that you have in the process, knowing that at the end of all this you and the world would be better for it.

Hold on my dear. There will be discomfort for a while but there is sunshine, immense light at the end of the process.”
