I had been hearing for a long time that 2012 would mark the beginning of a New Time in our world. From the 21st day of December 2012 the world would change and a we human beings would become more concerned with spiritual matters rather than our physical and material wellbeing.  Our phenomenal technological progress for the last two thousand years was causing us a great deal of pain despite the gains. It was not just the Mayan Calendar that had predicted the end of time as we knew it but modern astrologers were telling us of the alignment of our planetary constellation, where the Age of Pisces was coming to an end and the New Age of Aquarius was beginning.

My spiritual guides had been talking to me about the Shift in Consciousness that was taking place in the human psyche even as they gave me advice for my own life.  It was not just the rapid advance of technology on the planet but the obvious unrelenting bid by women to claim financial and societal  equality with men in every aspect of their lives. Men too had been transforming the way they thought of life and was moving into more feeling aspects of their traditionally rational personalities. The change or shift was upon us and my Higher Self was in the mood to further elucidate on these matters: 

“What a time! But it is lovely! Everybody finding their sea-legs, the places they travelled for the role which they prepared a life-time for, time after time after time. Those were the dress rehearsals. The preacher was not wrong when he said that the goat will be separated from the sheep! As you can see from your own experiences yesterday evening this is not going to be an easy task.

You really must be on clear ground in order to reap the benefits of this SHIFT. If you are not clear and still carry emotional baggage it is going to be rough. Worse yet you might think that you are alright, but you will still attract other people’s negativity and you will have to help them clear it. It is not fair, but you did pick it up.

Learn to leave others with what they have sown, or your lot will be harder. Can a child of light do that? “Yes. If it is not a healthy attachment, if it was not taken on as ego. You have to recognize this and drop it.”

As a reiki healer I had to bravely face the challenges of the energy changes brought on by the vibrational shifts in the people around me. It is easy as an empath, to be pulled into other people’s drama as they try to adjust to the new Energy. I had to use many new spiritual tools to keep my balance and divine connectivity. But it was the words of the Divine Feminine who clearly brought home to me the best approach to the energetic anomalies that we humans face after the 2012 Energy Shift.

“Well, we are in the grind of things. You are prepared but there are still areas of statis that need prodding, needs movement out. But we are on time for the energy influx. Much is happening that you cannot see. Everything and everyone are moving together in an energetic dance that is quite phenomenal. Let those who have eyes see. We are watching as others fall into the giant soup of new consciousness. We are watching how their ingredients take to the main body.

Some are not faring well. Their old ways of being, which had been very comfortable for them are leaving. They do not like that. Then there are those like you who know but are still broad-sided by the energy. None shall escape this great shifting and shifting.

Think of this energy as a giant strainer and the world you have created is being moved around to allow the dross to leave. Some of you might not want to go because it is not comfortable for who you have become in the world. And others, while they know they need to change, are not sure what will replace their old ways. But assurance is the FAITH you have in the process, knowing at the end all of this, you and the world will be better for it.

Hold on my dear. There will be discomfort for a while but there is sunshine, immense light at the end of this process.”

Of course, I had many questions about the Voice of the Great Mother or Divine Feminine presence and influence in the SHIFT. Who is SHE?

She is the Female Principle in Creation.

She is represented on Earth by different names in different cultures. She is beyond sexual labels for She has incorporated all polarity but represents herself as what you refer to as female. This is because She carries so much of those traits. But She is more than that. The world will find out that She is the moon, the stars, She is everywhere. But to some narrow collectives, She represents their highest thought of the feminine and is named according to their culture.

Do I have to worship her?

“Not in the ritualistic way that has been set up by different hierarchical culture on this earth. She has a place of honour on the physical plane and so it should be in your heart. The highest ideal of the Feminine should be honoured. You honour yourself when you honour her. She needs acknowledgement within you. She needs relationship with you and together you forge a partnership. Then She will show you her ways. She wants to be part of this and wants a ready place in your heart and thoughts to make this happen.”

And I really took that advice to heart. That Voice of the Divine Feminine has guided me to many discoveries about myself and the world we live in.  Many of Her aspects and sacred spots are within us and also reside on my beautiful and often misunderstood island home of Trinidad and Tobago. But She has authorized my sharing of some on my adventure trips with you so that you too can avail yourself of the opportunities to awaken the Divinity within you, man and woman alike. 2019 marks her firmly entrenched presence in our midst and in our hearts.
